Quantitative filter paper VS Qualitative filter paper
* The difference between the two is that the quality of the ash after ignition is different. The ash content of the quantitative filter paper is very low, it can be ignored in gravimetric analysis. While qualitative filter paper has a lot of ash after burning,
which is not suitable for gravimetric analysis.

Operational Steps
1.Fold the filter paper in half, twice in a row, and fold it into a 90°center-shaped funnel.
2.Press the folded filter paper into three layers on one side and one layer on the other side to form a funnel.
3.Put the funnel-shaped filter paper into the funnel.The edge of the funnel. Fill the funnel with clean water so that the soaked filter paper is close to the inner wall of the funnel. Pour out the remaining clean water and set aside.

beaker or test tube under the funnel neck, and lean the tip of the funnel neck against the wall of the receiving container.
5.When injecting the liquid to be filtered into the funnel, hold the liquid cup in the right hand and the glass rod in the left.
make the cup mouth close to the glass rod, and the filtered liquid will flow out from the cup mouth. Then flow into the funnel
obliquely along the glass rod, leaving the liquid in the leakage body, and the liquid level cannot exceed the height of the filter paper in the funnel.
6.When the liquid passing through the filter paper flows down the neck of the funnel, check whether the liquid flows down the wall of the cup and fill it to the bottom of the cup. Otherwise, you should move the beaker or rotate the funnel to make the tip of the funnel and the wall of the beaker stick firmly. You can make the liquid flow down the wall of the cup.
